Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Trade Post Local (“we,” “us”) collects when you use tradepostlocal.com, how we use it, and your choices. We are based in Stuart, Florida.

Information we collect from visitors

• Clicks to businesses. When you click a Call, Website or Directions button, we record which listing was clicked, the page you were on, the referring page, your browser's user-agent, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address that changes daily. We never store your raw IP address with these records. We use this to count clicks for businesses and to filter out bots.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, time and page requested, for security and reliability.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and email address to respond.

Business listing information

Listings contain business information from public records (such as Florida DBPR license records), openly licensed business data, and business owners. We show a city rather than a street address for listings whose address comes only from license records. Business owners can ask us to correct or remove a listing at any time — see the Contact page.

Cookies and advertising

We may show ads served by Google and other third-party vendors. These vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

• To give businesses aggregate click counts (never your identity).
• To prevent abuse, fraud and automated traffic.
• To respond to your messages.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the site, including Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database), and, if enabled, Google (advertising and search tools). They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Retention and security

Click records are kept in aggregate-friendly form (hashed, no raw IP) for as long as needed to provide click reports. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website can guarantee perfect security.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
